On the outskirts of the vast forests of  Pohorje

In the vicinity of Maribor, in the village Planica (700 m above sea level above Fram), our farm "At Kovačnik’s" is located. The Štern family, living on this 36-hectares large farm, does the best to make their guests feel at home. Mom Angelca, Dad Janez, son Danilo, his wife Barbara and children Aljaž and Julija welcome guests at any time and season. 

Taking care for you since 1981

Our house was opened for guests in 1981. We have always served delicacies for even the most demanding visitors. Those who adore home-made dishes from Pohorje as well as the ones who appreciate originality soaked with tradition and modern views on creative cuisine are satisfied at our tourist farm. 

Welcome

At weekends, groups or individual guests are welcome to enjoy home-made delicacies which you can consume in cozy, bright dining rooms, equipped in genuine style of farm houses in the past. In one dining room, 20 people can enjoy the pleasance nearby an old tiled stove, and the other room accepts 40 guests of our tourist farm.

All the guests who spend their vacation at our farm are pampered throughout the year with deliciously prepared local dishes.
